About Me

Ms. Ivane Garcia is the Guidance Counselor at PS 360. In this capacity, she assists students with building a healthy sense of self-worth and positivity, which lays the foundation for academic, emotional and social success.

Ms. Garcia is a licensed clinical social worker, and previously worked in the non-profit sector guiding individuals diagnosed with a with mental illness. The combination of Ms. Garcia's social work experience and passion to help students navigate life's challenges, offers a unique approach to fostering emotional self-regulation and problem-solving skills that students need to support long-term academic learning. Ms. Garcia is excited about positively contributing to the success of students.
